ACMS Health Policy

COVID-19 Guidelines

The safety of our students, families, and faculty is our primary concern. Please take a moment to read carefully through our safety guidelines. For the well-being of all, we will be strictly adhering to all safety policies outlined below.

Armstrong Community Music School (ACMS) will be taking the following steps:

  • Masks are required for anyone above the age of 5 attending an indoor Early Childhood Music Class in the Covid 19 Community Level High, and for all students and the teacher in our Music for Little Mozarts classes.
  • Masks are highly encouraged for private instruction in medium level and required in high level. Teachers may choose to require their students to mask.
  • Masks are highly encouraged in medium level and required in high level indoor common areas (lobby, hallways, restrooms).
  • ACMS will continue to make masks available and fully supports any faculty or students who wish to continue wearing a mask.
  • HEPA air purifiers are running in most rooms with more being added as we are able.

ACMS is asking for students to understand:

  • If you are experiencing ANY symptoms of illness, please remain home and choose to participate in your lesson/class virtually or schedule a makeup. Options available are dependent  on your program; contact [email protected] with questions.
  • If you have received a positive COVID test or have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive, please do not attend in person activities until your quarantine period is complete and/or you have received a negative test.

These guidelines are subject to change.
